Maintenance Technician – Overnight Shift

About the role

Maintenance Technicians work alongside production teams to continuously improve equipment reliability in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. The role supports brewing, packaging, quality, logistics and operates site utility equipment, with a focus on overnight shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders and provide maintenance support to all operational areas, both independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain and repair equipment, including disassembly, reassembly, rebuilding assemblies and part replacement.
• Perform electrical work up to 480 VAC 3‑phase, troubleshoot PLCs and variable‑frequency drives, and work on control systems.
• Carry out mechanical tasks such as bearing, chain, motor/gearbox, valve and pump maintenance, as well as hydraulics and lubrication.
• Use the CMMS to document corrective and preventive maintenance, issue parts and record inspection data.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED; 3 years of industrial mechanical/electrical experience (or a two‑year technical degree).
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work safely in a team environment.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, twist and lift up to 50 lb; comfortable working at heights and in varying temperatures.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts, overtime and occasional off‑shifts.

Required skills

• Electrical maintenance up to 480 VAC 3‑phase, PLC troubleshooting, variable‑frequency drives.
• Mechanical repair: bearings, chains, motors, gearboxes, valves, pumps, hydraulics, lubrication.
• Use of multimeters and reading electrical schematics.
• Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Microsoft Excel proficiency.
