Maintenance Technician – Lantower Round Rock

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of the Lantower Round Rock property—including buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing them according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, repairs and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, tools and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.

Required profile

• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
• Compliance with Greystar safety policies, including participation in safety meetings and completion of OSHA‑related training.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on the property when required.

Required skills

• EPA certification Type 1 and Type 2 or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license.
