Maintenance Technician IV – Digital Machine Experience

About the role

The Maintenance Technician IV is responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of industrial machinery through regular inspections, preventative maintenance, and rapid emergency repairs. This role blends hands‑on mechanical work with digital tools to support a modern production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs on a variety of equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and operation manuals to install, modify, or repair machinery.
• Maintain accurate work orders, schedules, and documentation using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Use hand and power tools, including welding and precision equipment, to assemble, install, and repair components.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant certifications.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including digital machine exposure.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a noisy environment.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand tools, welding, precision and semi‑automated machines.
• Expertise in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of motors, bearings, rollers, sprockets, etc.
• Solid understanding of pneumatics and intermediate electrical systems.
• Advanced use of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
