Maintenance Technician – Industrial Plant

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our Performance Chemicals team in Savannah, GA. The primary function is to ensure proper maintenance within the facility and timely production of high‑quality products in a cost‑efficient, safe and environmentally responsible manner.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on plant equipment and facilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
• Work independently following written instructions.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, cutting and burning equipment, welding equipment, and material handling equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and complete required paperwork accurately.
• Adhere to all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies and wear prescribed PPE.
• Notify the supervisor before undertaking work for which you are not trained.
• Report unsafe acts or conditions and take interim safety steps.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED; Technical Degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Proficiency in precision maintenance on rotating manufacturing equipment.
• Experience working with SAP.
• Skilled in operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
