Maintenance Technician for Alta Harris Farms

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of Alta Harris Farms – including buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas – meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing them according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely to ensure proper tracking.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.

Required profile

• Adherence to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, including participation in safety meetings and completion of OSHA‑related training.
• Flexibility to work a rotating on‑call schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays, and ability to travel between properties as needed.

Required skills

• EPA Type I refrigerant certification
• EPA Type II refrigerant certification
• Universal refrigerant certification
• Valid driver’s license
