Maintenance Technician – City Place

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the City Place community in Pasadena. You will ensure that the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet the company’s standards for safety, cleanliness and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and complete preventative maintenance work orders.
• Perform the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document all work orders and maintenance activities accurately and promptly.
• Assist with grounds upkeep, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and minor painting tasks.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of hands‑on maintenance experience, preferably with older (≈20‑year‑old) residential buildings.
• Availability to work weekends and a schedule of Tuesday‑Saturday.
• Ability to follow safety standards, company policies and local code requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi property management software.
• Experience using Happy Property platform.
• Familiarity with Ops Technology tools.
