Maintenance Technician – Central Park at Whisman Station

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Central Park at Whisman Station community. You will ensure that the building, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing them according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Complete all required documentation and paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance.
• Availability to work Tuesday‑Saturday, 8 am‑5 pm.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, work orders, and documentation processes.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, inventory tracking, and cost‑saving measures.
