Maintenance Technician (BTR) – Frame Med Center

About the role

This position performs technical and mechanical work that ensures the physical aspects of the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and making repairs according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by cleaning, pressure‑washing, trash removal, and painting as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete OSHA training, and report incidents promptly.
• Inspect contractor work to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Required profile

• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance), and work in all weather conditions.
• EPA certifications Type 1, Type 2 or Universal for refrigerant recycling, and any state/local certifications required for service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on the property when needed.
