Maintenance Technician – Active Adult Community

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to support the Rise Nocatee active‑adult community. The role ensures buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas are kept in excellent condition, safe and welcoming for residents.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, coordinating vendors, completing repairs and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Complete all required documentation and paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by picking up debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.

Required profile

• Experience performing building and mechanical maintenance in a residential or community setting.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, safety procedures and code requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document work accurately.
