Maintenance Technician – Southside Quarter

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join the Southside Quarter team in Jacksonville. The role ensures that the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Complete all required documentation promptly and accurately to ensure proper tracking of service requests.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts instead of replacing them whenever possible and using materials efficiently.

• Physical capability to perform manual tasks and work in various weather conditions.
