Maintenance Technician – $3,750 Sign‑On Bonus

About the role

We’re hiring Maintenance Technicians at our manufacturing facility in Zanesville, OH. The position offers a starting pay of $30.28‑$39.60 per hour, a Maintenance Progression Plan and a $3,750 sign‑on bonus. You will perform preventative and predictive maintenance to keep equipment reliable while ensuring a safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain plant systems including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and instrumentation.
• Install and program Variable Frequency Drives and related control equipment.
• Install, troubleshoot and maintain switches, relays, circuit‑breaker panels and motor protection devices.
• Troubleshoot electrical control systems, motors and PLCs using multimeters, megohmmeters and process simulators.
• Repair gear reducers, conveyors, chain elevators and packaging equipment.
• Maintain wastewater system, boiler operations, cooling towers and general building utilities.
• Utilize thermal imaging and ultrasonic analysis for condition monitoring.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least one year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse or military environment, or a two‑year technical degree.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends.
• Preferred experience with 480 V industrial voltages.

Required skills

• Variable Frequency Drive installation and programming.
• Electrical wiring, switchgear, relays and circuit‑breaker panel work.
• Motor and PLC troubleshooting.
• Use of multimeters, megohmmeters and process simulators.
• Gear reducer, conveyor and packaging equipment repair.
• Thermal imaging and ultrasonic analysis.
• Experience with 480 V systems.
