Processing Operator

About the role

As a Processing Operator you will document ingredients on batch papers, verify accurate ingredient amounts, and maintain proper rotation of raw materials using a first‑in/first‑expired system. You will accurately record batch codes and lot numbers for ingredients while working independently.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and attend required safety, team, and plant‑wide meetings and trainings.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of SOPs for dry batching and equipment operation.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance as required.
• Verify ingredient weights match formula specifications and meet high quality standards.
• Inspect and monitor Kason and hand‑add sifters to ensure proper function and removal of foreign materials.
• Visually inspect meat and work areas to identify and remove any foreign material.
• Maintain sanitation and housekeeping standards in the meat freezer and meat batching areas.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with problem‑solving or continuous‑improvement techniques preferred.
