Maintenance Technician – $1,000 Sign‑On Bonus

About the role

Join Greystar as a Maintenance Technician supporting an active‑adult community in Overture West Ashley. You will ensure the property’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas remain clean, safe and fully functional, enhancing residents’ lifestyle experience.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly for proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts whenever feasible.

Required profile

• Experience in property or facilities maintenance with a focus on mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, safety procedures and building codes.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory tracking and documentation.
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks and operate equipment safely.
