Maintenance Supervisor – Silver Bay

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the interior and exterior of the community, including buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of vendors and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders, diagnose issues, and perform repairs following safety codes and company policies.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, signage, parking areas and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members and contractors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts, order supplies within budget, and execute monthly preventative maintenance tasks.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience; background in property‑management or building maintenance.
• Ability to think logically, solve problems, and communicate effectively with residents and team members.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb ladders and lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on the property, if required.

Required skills

• EPA Type I & II or Universal certification for HVAC work.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment and measuring devices.
• Experience with property‑management software (preferred) and basic computer skills (internet, word processing, spreadsheets, databases).
