Maintenance Supervisor – Louis at 14th

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the interior and exterior of the community, including buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. Reporting to the Community Manager, the supervisor coordinates repairs, preventative maintenance and the make‑ready process for vacant units.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders, diagnose issues and perform repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the make‑ready process: conduct pre‑move‑out inspections, create punch lists, schedule vendors, procure supplies and complete all maintenance tasks before new move‑ins.
• Develop and uphold standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, signage, parking areas and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors and vendors to ensure quality and compliance, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, coordinating orders with the Community Manager while adhering to budget guidelines.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance procedures as defined in the policy manual.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property or facilities maintenance, preferably in multi‑unit residential settings.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage vendors and supervise maintenance staff.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Hands‑on maintenance and repair skills across mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Experience with preventative maintenance scheduling.
• Inventory management for maintenance supplies.
