Maintenance Supervisor – Los Angeles

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the community’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This full‑time, onsite position oversees both routine upkeep and larger projects across a 375‑unit property.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders, diagnose issues and perform repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Manage the make‑ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, signage, parking areas and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, ordering as needed while staying within budget.
• Conduct monthly preventative maintenance and lead safety meetings, keeping MSDS sheets current and adhering to OSHA regulations.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of property maintenance experience, with specific high‑rise experience.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to address resident concerns promptly.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, inventory and vendor relationships.

Required skills

• Knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures and safety regulations (OSHA, MSDS).
• Experience with building systems diagnostics and repair in high‑rise environments.
