Maintenance Planning Coordinator

About the role

Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager and Supervisor, the Maintenance Planning Coordinator organizes and plans all aspects of the maintenance department’s work orders and preventive maintenance for a defined group of crafts, equipment, and plant areas. The role ensures equipment reliability, minimizes production interruptions, and supports continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate repairs, services, and overhauls of equipment, and manage the MRO budget.
• Enter and implement new preventive maintenance (PM) plans into the SAP CMMS system, assign work orders, and generate performance reports.
• Develop bills of material, estimate total work costs, and facilitate part requests.
• Analyze job performance metrics, support failure analysis, and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED required; 3‑5 years of experience with maintenance management systems (SAP) preferred.
• Basic mechanical and electrical background with strong organizational and scheduling abilities.
