About the role
We are seeking a Machine Operator II to set up and run precision manufacturing equipment, ensuring products meet blueprint specifications and quality standards in a safe, collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities
- Select and prioritize production jobs using the Sites Control System or as directed.
- Set up equipment according to work instructions, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
- Develop and adjust basic CNC programs to support production requirements.
- Adjust machine parameters and perform robot calibrations.
- Verify process capability using Statistical Process Control (SPC) and other control methods.
- Utilize measurement systems to ensure products meet specifications and perform visual inspections.
- Monitor operations to achieve efficiency and utilization targets.
- Identify continuous‑improvement opportunities with peers, supervisors, and engineers.
- Perform routine equipment and tooling maintenance, including tooling condition evaluation.
- Assist in training less‑experienced operators and support team development.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and follow all safety policies.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current authorization to work in the United States.
- 1–3 years of experience in a mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
- Experience with CNC‑controlled equipment, automation, or robotic systems.
- Familiarity with precision measuring devices and quality inspection processes.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
