Machine Operator II – 2nd Shift (Sun‑Thu)

About the role

We are looking for a Machine Operator II to join our Richmond facility on the 2nd shift (Sunday‑Thursday). You will help assemble and add value to parts while ensuring quality and supporting continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct assembly and value‑adding of parts.
• Monitor output quality, discarding or re‑manufacturing faulty products.
• Maintain accurate daily assembly production records.
• Execute production work according to ALPS standards and participate in continuous improvements.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED with relevant experience.
• 2‑3 years experience in a manufacturing environment working with machines, equipment, jigs, fixtures and measuring instruments.
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints and manufacturing orders.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, leadership and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Forklift certification (preferred).
• Experience operating machines, equipment, jigs, fixtures and measuring instruments.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
• Intermediate computer proficiency.
