About the role
Join the Orthopaedics manufacturing team to operate a variety of machines that produce medical instruments and implants. You will work under the guidance of the cell lead to meet production targets while ensuring product quality and safety.
Key responsibilities
- Operate CNC, hydraulic, pneumatic, CMM, grinding, laser etching and other equipment to cut, drill, mill, bend, deburr, assemble, package and label orthopaedic devices.
- Inspect in‑process and finished parts using gauges, micrometers, calipers and visual tools to verify dimensional and cosmetic compliance.
- Perform routine machine maintenance such as coolant checks, fluid level monitoring, belt changes and chip removal.
- Document process steps, inspection results and product traceability according to FDA QSR and ISO standards.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least six months of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift 5‑25 lb regularly and occasional loads over 50 lb.
Required skills
- Operation of CNC machines, lathes, mills, grinders, drill presses and laser etching equipment.
- Use of measuring instruments: gauges, micrometers, calipers, comparators, go/no‑go gauges.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers and deburring knives.
What we offer
- Base salary range $34,100 – $54,395 per year.
