About the role
The Loss Prevention Agent I ensures the safety and security of guests, employees, and property at the Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve Puerto Rico. This entry‑level position supports safety policies, provides visible security presence, and assists in emergency response.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out safety policies and procedures of the property and Benchmark.
- Conduct preventive patrols and maintain high visibility to deter crime.
- Promote a peaceful environment for guests and employees.
- Respond to emergencies and provide aid to individuals in danger or needing medical attention.
- Complete daily activity and incident reports and safeguard guest/employee information.
- Assist with compliance to liquor laws and support security‑related programs.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
- Two years of college coursework in safety, security, or hospitality related field preferred.
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
