Load Balancing Engineer – Infrastructure Consultant

About the role

Infosys is looking for a Load Balancing Engineer to join its Financial Services unit. The role is positioned as an Infrastructure Consultant (Level 2) and focuses on designing, deploying and supporting load‑balancing solutions for client environments across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and client teams to resolve complex incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and document preventive recommendations.
• Evaluate client IT infrastructure, prepare assessment reports and support due‑diligence activities to identify maturity gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to the design of scalable, cost‑effective infrastructure solutions, review reusable components and develop technical documentation for deployed systems.
• Coordinate release schedules, execute deployments, perform post‑deployment testing and manage version control.
• Plan and execute maintenance windows, emergency fixes and technology upgrades while ensuring seamless integration.
• Analyze performance data, support capacity planning and provide insights on system behavior.
• Conduct security checks, recovery drills and compliance audits, implementing security measures and continuity plans.
• Identify automation opportunities by gathering feedback and analyzing existing infrastructure processes.
