Cockroach DBA – Infrastructure Consultant (Level 2)

About the role

Infosys Financial Services is looking for a Cockroach DBA to join its Infrastructure Consulting team in Chandler, AZ. The role focuses on managing and optimizing database and infrastructure services for financial institution clients, leveraging AI, cloud and data‑led technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and client teams to resolve complex incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and document preventive recommendations.
• Evaluate client IT infrastructure, produce assessment reports and support due‑diligence activities to identify maturity gaps.
• Design scalable, cost‑effective infrastructure solutions, review reusable components and create technical documentation.
• Coordinate release schedules, execute deployments, conduct post‑deployment testing and manage version control.
• Plan and oversee maintenance windows, emergency fixes and technology upgrades while ensuring seamless integration.
• Analyze performance data, provide insights on system behavior and assist with capacity planning.
• Conduct security checks, recovery drills and compliance audits, implementing security measures and continuity plans.
• Identify automation opportunities, analyze existing processes and propose efficiency enhancements.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in incident resolution and root‑cause analysis.
• Proven ability to assess and document IT infrastructure maturity.
• Experience designing and deploying scalable infrastructure solutions.
• Familiarity with release management, version control and post‑deployment validation.
• Capability to coordinate maintenance activities and technology upgrades.
• Understanding of performance monitoring, capacity planning and security compliance.
• Interest in automation and process improvement.
