Container Platform Engineer – Kubernetes & Cloud Automation

About the role

The Container Platform Engineer will join Infosys' Financial Services unit in Chandler, AZ, supporting the design, deployment and operation of modern containerised infrastructure for banking, wealth management and insurance clients.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and client teams to resolve complex incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and document preventive recommendations.
• Evaluate client IT environments, produce assessment reports and identify infrastructure maturity gaps.
• Design scalable, cost‑effective infrastructure solutions, review reusable components and create technical documentation.
• Coordinate release schedules, execute deployments, conduct post‑deployment testing and manage version control.
• Plan and execute maintenance windows, emergency fixes and technology upgrades while ensuring continuity.
• Analyse performance data, support capacity planning and optimise system behaviour.
• Conduct security checks, recovery drills and compliance audits, implementing security measures and continuity plans.

Required profile

• Experience as an Infrastructure Consultant or similar role, handling incident management and infrastructure assessments.
• Proven ability to design, deploy and maintain cloud‑native solutions in a client‑facing environment.
• Strong analytical skills for performance monitoring, capacity planning and security compliance.
