LMSW or Psychologist – Youth Residential Program

About the role

PsyPhyCare is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist or Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) to deliver on‑site mental health services for a federally supported residential youth program in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The part‑time contract position involves up to 30 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, working directly with young adults ages 16‑24 to support their emotional well‑being and transition to independent living.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to enrolled students.
• Engage with students throughout residential spaces, including dormitories, recreation areas, and dining facilities.
• Collaborate with program leadership and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate care.
• Offer oversight, guidance, and training to staff facilitating group counseling sessions.
• Support student development, conduct crisis interventions, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Uphold professional, ethical, and confidentiality standards at all times.

Required profile

• Active Michigan licensure as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist or Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW).
• Minimum of one year of experience providing mental health services to adolescents or young adults.
