About the role
The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts is seeking a part‑time Line Cook to join the Floris culinary team. Floris, located in the Pauley Center Parlor, offers a tea‑centric, seasonal rotating menu that highlights minority‑ and women‑owned Virginia tea vendors. The role supports the museum’s 365‑day‑a‑year operation and contributes to a unique, inclusive dining experience for guests.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and present dishes in line with the seasonal rotating menu inspired by tea‑centric regions.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food‑safety standards.
- Collaborate with service professionals to ensure a memorable guest experience.
- Assist with inventory management and kitchen supply needs.
