Licensed Practical Nurse – Urology Clinic (Kings Hwy)

About the role

This position provides direct patient care, including IV therapy, for assigned patients in the Urology Clinic on Kings Highway. Working under the direction of a registered nurse, the LPN coordinates with ancillary staff and the multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized, high‑quality care.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process for data gathering, planning, and evaluation of patient care.
• Provide care based on physical, psycho‑social, educational, and safety criteria appropriate to patient age.
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, and co‑workers to ensure a quality experience.
• Adapt quickly to changing unit needs throughout the day.
• Maintain personal professional development, clinical knowledge, and required credentials.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Required profile

• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills with sound judgment.
• Strong interpersonal and delegation abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Capability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• IV therapy credential (preferred).
