Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Asthma, Allergy & ENT Clinic

About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide direct patient care, including IV therapy, to individuals attending the Asthma, Allergy, and ENT Clinic in Shreveport. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the LPN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalized, high‑quality care while adhering to the Licensed Practical Nurse Act.

Key responsibilities

• Effectively uses the nursing process for data gathering, planning, and evaluation of patient care.
• Provides comprehensive care addressing physical, psycho‑social, educational, and safety needs of patients.
• Communicates professionally with patients, families, and staff to ensure a quality experience.
• Adapts quickly to changing unit demands and priorities throughout the day.
• Manages personal professional development and maintains required clinical knowledge and credentials.
• Performs other related duties as required, including exposure to blood and body fluids.

Required profile

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Effective interpersonal and delegation skills.

Required skills

• Current LPN license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• IV therapy credentials (preferred).
