About the role
The Cleveland Clinic Digestive Disease Institute is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the H50 colorectal surgery unit. The role involves providing direct patient care on a day/night rotating schedule, supporting a team of 16 colorectal surgeons.
Key responsibilities
- Collect, document, and report patient data and observations.
- Implement and revise care plans under RN supervision.
- Administer medications and treatments authorized by providers, monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and educate patients and families.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing Program.
- Current Ohio licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross.
- One year of patient care experience preferred.
Required skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ohio LPN licensure.
