Licensed Clinician for Youth Residential Program in Astoria, OR

About the role

PsyPhyCare is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker to deliver on‑site mental health services for a federally supported residential youth program. The position involves direct clinical work with young adults aged 16‑24, helping them prepare for employment and independent living.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to enrolled students.
• Engage with students throughout residential areas, including dormitories, recreation spaces, and dining facilities.
• Collaborate with program leadership and interdisciplinary staff.
• Offer oversight, guidance, and training to staff facilitating group counseling sessions.
• Support student development, emotional well‑being, and crisis intervention as needed.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation while upholding professional, ethical, and confidentiality standards.

Required profile

• Active Oregon licensure as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Minimum of one year of experience providing mental health services to adolescents or young adults.
