Letter of Credit Product Analyst – Corporate & Investment Banking

About the role

The Analyst, Letter of Credit Product Specialist supports Santander's Global Transaction Banking Large Corporates Business Unit. You will be the first‑line contact for clients, agent banks and internal teams, ensuring smooth onboarding, booking and processing of Letter‑of‑Credit products throughout their lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support to clients, banks and internal stakeholders for product requests and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with Middle Office and Operations to guarantee accurate deal booking and timely remedial actions.
• Create, maintain and enhance management reports, delivering ad‑hoc reporting as needed.
• Verify product requirements, communicate with relevant areas, and ensure documentation completeness.
• Maintain client folders with credit, legal and other required documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 1‑3 years of experience in product development, business development or a related area.
• Experience with Letter‑of‑Credit products preferred; knowledge of trade finance is a plus.
• Strong analytical ability, capable of multitasking and prioritising a heavy workload.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate customer needs into product features.
