Legal Claims Analyst – Remote (Los Angeles area)

About the role

Morley is seeking a Legal Claims Analyst to manage small automotive claims for a Fortune 500 automaker. The role is remote with periodic travel within Southern California and involves representing the client in court and supporting defense strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Office of the General Counsel and outside counsel on lemon law defense strategies.
• Serve as the Person Most Knowledgeable (PMK) on client policies, providing testimony at depositions and trials.
• Manage small claims cases, representing the client’s interests in court approximately 15% of the time.
• Work with the California review team to evaluate vehicle buyback requests for legal compliance.
• Train and mentor team members on best practices for lemon law claim management.
• Assess consumer relief requests related to lemon law and deliver fair, compliant resolutions.
• Handle inbound and outbound communications (calls, chats, emails) with a positive attitude.

Required profile

• California resident located near Los Angeles.
• Strong understanding of litigation processes and California lemon law.
• Excellent public speaking, listening, and communication abilities.
• Proactive, organized, and able to work independently in high‑stress environments.

What we offer

• Starting salary between $65,000 and $77,000 annually.
