Leasing Professional – Verona Community (Santa Monica)

About the role

The Leasing Professional will coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for the Verona community in Santa Monica. You will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention by managing the full leasing cycle and ensuring resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in and coordinate any maintenance needs.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform short‑ and long‑term marketing plans.
• Execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, traffic, and leasing activity.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of leasing experience with a strong closing ratio (≈30% preferred).
• Weekend availability required.
• Eligibility for a 20% housing discount.
