Leasing Professional – Trella Uptown

About the role

The Leasing Professional will coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for the Trella Uptown community to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals. You will manage all leasing activities, ensure resident satisfaction throughout the lease term, and secure lease renewals.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, show apartments, process applications, and perform credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease and move‑in packages, ensure smooth resident move‑in and lease signing.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, confirm readiness, and coordinate any outstanding maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community policies on concessions and specials.
• Design and execute marketing activities, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing tools such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software to track availability, record traffic, manage resident and prospect data, and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to greet, qualify, and guide prospective residents.
• Experience conducting tours, processing applications, and managing lease documentation.
• Ability to inspect units and coordinate with maintenance to ensure move‑in readiness.
• Knowledge of local market trends and competitor activity.
• Capability to develop and implement marketing plans and referral programs.
• Proficiency using property management software to manage data and track leasing activity.
