Leasing Professional – The Windsor Community

About the role

This position coordinates the community’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals. The Leasing Professional greets prospects, conducts tours, processes applications, and ensures smooth move‑ins while maintaining high resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities to meet revenue and occupancy targets, including prospect qualification, tours, applications, credit and background checks, lease preparation, and move‑in coordination.
• Inspect apartments before resident move‑in, ensure readiness, and schedule any needed maintenance.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, monitor market conditions, and manage concessions and specials.
• Drive traffic through resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online tools such as Craigslist, Facebook, and email marketing.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, prospect data, and leasing activity.
• Maintain show units and marketing corridors to company standards, coordinating with maintenance as needed.
• Follow up with prospects and residents via email, calls, and thank‑you notes to ensure satisfaction and secure lease renewals.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner concerns, taking action to resolve issues.

Required profile

• 1–2 years leasing experience, preferably with Yardi or other CRM systems.
• Valid driver’s license and any required state/local leasing licenses.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
