Leasing Professional – The Grand at Westside

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue and resident retention for The Grand at Westside, a stabilized 336‑unit garden‑style community. The role combines sales, customer service and marketing activities to attract new residents and secure lease renewals.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities: greet prospects, conduct tours, process applications, run credit and background checks, prepare lease and move‑in packages, and ensure a smooth move‑in experience.
• Inspect apartments before resident move‑in, coordinate with the maintenance team to resolve any outstanding items.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community policies on concessions and specials.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising using platforms such as Craigslist, Facebook and email.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leasing or residential property management.
• Ability to conduct tours, qualify prospects and manage the full leasing cycle.
• Strong attention to detail for apartment inspections and coordination with maintenance.
• Knowledge of local rental market dynamics and competitor activity.
• Experience creating and implementing marketing programs to drive traffic.
