Leasing Professional – South Seattle

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue and resident retention for a South Seattle community. You will manage all leasing activities from prospecting to move‑in, ensure apartments are ready for new residents, and support lease renewals.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, process applications, credit and background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues, and ensure show units meet company standards.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Use property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage resident data.
• Follow‑up with prospects and new residents via email, phone, and thank‑you notes to secure lease decisions and renewals.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner concerns, documenting requests and coordinating resolutions.

Required profile

• All state and local licensing and certification requirements must be met.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders and lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) in all weather conditions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Experience using internet marketing tools (Craigslist, Facebook, email platforms) to generate leasing traffic.
