About the role
The Leasing Professional is responsible for driving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention at the Grand Reserve community. This full‑time position coordinates marketing, leasing, and renewal activities while delivering a high level of resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, process applications, and manage lease sign‑ups.
- Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate any maintenance needed, and ensure apartments are move‑in ready.
- Monitor market trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and implement concessions or specials to boost occupancy.
- Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
- Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, prospect data, and demographic information.
- Maintain show units and common areas to Greystar standards, coordinating with maintenance as required.
- Follow up with prospects and new residents via email, phone, or thank‑you notes to ensure satisfaction.
- Prepare lease renewal packages, contact renewing residents, and ensure timely execution of renewal documents.
- Respond promptly to resident and owner inquiries, documenting and escalating issues as needed.
Required profile
- All state and local licenses or certifications required for leasing activities.
- Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) in all weather conditions.
Required skills
- Proficiency with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
- Experience using internet marketing tools including Craigslist, Facebook, and email campaigns.
