Leasing Professional – Prado Community

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to join the Prado community in Santa Clara. You will be responsible for driving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention through effective marketing, leasing, and renewal activities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, and manage lease sign‑ups to meet occupancy targets.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to ensure readiness, and oversee smooth resident move‑ins.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community policies on concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track applications, lease documents, and resident information.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of leasing or property management experience, preferably in luxury or mid‑rise residential settings.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with de‑escalation and resident‑satisfaction skills.
• Knowledge of BMR (BMR) guidelines and ability to work a Thursday‑Monday schedule with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OneSite and Yardi property management platforms.
• Experience using ILM, HappyCo, Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
• Ability to conduct credit and background checks and prepare lease documentation.
