Leasing Professional – Navette on the Bay

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional for its Navette on the Bay community in Miami. The role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention through proactive leasing, marketing, and renewal activities.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screening and criminal background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages, and ensure smooth resident move‑ins.
• Inspect units before move‑in and coordinate any maintenance needs.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform short‑ and long‑term marketing plans.
• Execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage prospect data.

Required profile

• Experience in residential leasing or property management.
• Strong sales orientation with a focus on achieving occupancy and revenue targets.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to stay informed about local market conditions and adapt strategies accordingly.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software (e.g., OneSite, Yardi).
• Familiarity with online marketing tools such as Craigslist, Facebook, and email platforms.
• Knowledge of credit screening and background check processes.
