About the role

The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of a high‑rise residential community. Based in Miami, this position handles day‑to‑day accounting activities, ensures accurate rent collection, and maintains the financial health of the property.

Key responsibilities

  • Collect and post rent, fees, and other resident payments.
  • Prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile bank accounts.
  • Process invoices, payables, and expense reimbursements.
  • Generate monthly close‑out reports and other financial statements.
  • Maintain accurate records in the property management software.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed.

Required profile

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple financial tasks.
  • Experience supporting a Community Manager or similar role in property management.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with property management software.
