About the role
The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing the financial and operational aspects of a high‑rise residential community. Based in Miami, this position handles day‑to‑day accounting activities, ensures accurate rent collection, and maintains the financial health of the property.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and post rent, fees, and other resident payments.
- Prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile bank accounts.
- Process invoices, payables, and expense reimbursements.
- Generate monthly close‑out reports and other financial statements.
- Maintain accurate records in the property management software.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple financial tasks.
- Experience supporting a Community Manager or similar role in property management.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
Required skills
- Proficiency with property management software.
