Leasing Professional – Milo Block C

About the role

The Leasing Professional will coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for the Milo Block C community to meet occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals. This full‑time position involves all activities related to leasing new residents, ensuring satisfaction throughout the lease term, and securing renewals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease packages to achieve occupancy targets.
• Inspect units before move‑in, ensure they are ready, and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, and manage resident data.
• Support lease renewal efforts by preparing renewal letters, contacting residents early, and ensuring timely execution of renewal documents.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years leasing experience with at least 2 years in a lease‑up environment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a golf cart on the property.
• All required state and local licensing or certifications for leasing activities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OneSite property management software.
• Proficiency with Yardi property management software.
• Experience using internet marketing tools such as Craigslist, Facebook, and email campaigns.
