Leasing Professional – La Terraza Community

About the role

We are looking for a Leasing Professional to join the La Terraza community. The role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction through effective marketing, leasing, and renewal activities. You will work directly with prospective and current residents to ensure a smooth leasing experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, show apartments, and process applications, credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages, and coordinate resident move‑ins.
• Inspect units before move‑in, ensure they are ready, and schedule any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Use on‑site property management software to track availability, record traffic, and maintain resident data.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate with relatable leasing or customer‑service experience.
• Ability to work a schedule that includes days off on Monday and Wednesday.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
