Leasing Professional for Rise Community

About the role

We are seeking a Leasing Professional to join Greystar’s Rise community in California. The role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction through effective leasing, marketing, and renewal activities. You will be the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents, ensuring a smooth leasing experience from inquiry to move‑in.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and showcase available apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease agreements and move‑in packages.
• Inspect units before resident move‑in, coordinate any necessary maintenance, and ensure apartments are ready for occupancy.
• Monitor market and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials to meet occupancy goals.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising using platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Maintain accurate leasing records and support resident retention through timely communication and renewal efforts.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of leasing experience or related sales, hospitality, or customer‑service background.
• Proven ability to build relationships, close sales, and achieve occupancy targets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑focused mindset.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekend availability.
