Leasing Professional – Exchange at Westgate

About the role

The Leasing Professional at Exchange at Westgate will lead the community’s marketing, leasing and renewal efforts to meet occupancy, revenue and resident‑retention targets. Working in a stabilized garden‑style property of 312 units in Leland, NC, you will be the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospective residents, conduct community tours and show available apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screenings and criminal background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages and coordinate resident move‑ins.
• Drive lease renewals and maintain high resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.
• Collaborate with marketing to promote the community and achieve occupancy goals.
• Work a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating weekend coverage.

Required profile

• Experience in residential leasing or property management.
• Strong sales orientation with a focus on achieving occupancy and revenue targets.
• Excellent customer‑service skills and ability to build lasting resident relationships.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
