Leasing Professional – Entry Level

About the role

The Leasing Professional will coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal activities for a lease‑up, mid‑rise community of 108 units. This entry‑level position focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue, and resident‑retention goals through direct interaction with prospects and residents.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, ensure they are ready, and coordinate any maintenance needs.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including resident referral programs and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Use property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity, and maintain resident data.
• Maintain show‑unit quality, communicate upkeep needs to maintenance, and prepare the leasing office for daily operations.
• Follow up with prospects and residents via email, phone, and thank‑you notes to ensure satisfaction and secure lease renewals.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate with a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lb independently.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software (OneSite, Yardi).
• Familiarity with internet marketing tools (Craigslist, Facebook, email platforms).
