Leasing Professional – Elan City Center

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for the Elan City Center community. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospect outreach to move‑in, while ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and showcase apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in and coordinate any necessary maintenance.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform leasing strategies.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including resident referral and employer outreach programs.
• Utilize internet marketing tools such as Craigslist, Facebook, and email campaigns to generate traffic.
• Maintain accurate records of availability, traffic, and leasing activity using on‑site property management software.

Required profile

• Ability to work Monday‑Friday with rotating weekend shifts.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of local rental market dynamics.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software (OneSite, Yardi).
• Experience using internet marketing platforms (Craigslist, Facebook, email marketing).
