Leasing Professional – Cypress Area

About the role

The Leasing Professional is responsible for driving occupancy, revenue and resident retention through marketing, leasing and renewal activities for a Greystar community in Cypress.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to ensure units are ready.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including online listings, resident referral and employer outreach programs.
• Use property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, traffic and resident data.
• Maintain show‑unit standards, inspect marketing corridors, and prepare the leasing office for daily activity.
• Follow up with prospects and residents via email, calls or cards to secure leases and renewals.
• Prepare renewal letters, meet with renewing residents, and ensure timely signing of renewal documents.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner concerns, escalating issues as needed.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays, including on‑call duties.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Experience using internet marketing tools (e.g., Craigslist, Facebook, email platforms).
