Leasing Professional – Community Leasing & Renewal

About the role

The Leasing Professional will coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for the NOVEL Morrisville community to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals. This full‑time, onsite position involves guiding prospects through the leasing process, ensuring move‑in readiness, and supporting resident satisfaction throughout their lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate any needed maintenance, and ensure units are ready for residents.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including resident referral programs and online advertising.
• Use property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, resident data, and leasing activity.
• Maintain show‑unit standards, inspect marketing corridors, and prepare the leasing office for daily activities.
• Follow up with prospects and residents via email, calls, or notes to secure leases and renewals.
• Prepare renewal letters, meet with renewing residents, and ensure timely signing of renewal documents.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner concerns, documenting and escalating issues as needed.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Basic knowledge of leasing processes, credit screening, and background checks.
