Leasing Professional – Community Leasing & Marketing

About the role

The Leasing Professional will coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for the Broadstone Sterling Ranch community, driving occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction. This role involves all aspects of leasing, from prospecting to move‑in and lease renewal support.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, and manage lease sign‑ups to meet occupancy and revenue goals.
• Inspect units before move‑in, ensure readiness, and coordinate any maintenance needs.
• Monitor market trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and implement concessions or specials to boost occupancy.
• Execute marketing activities such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, and manage resident data.
• Maintain show units and common areas to company standards, coordinating with maintenance for upkeep.
• Follow up with prospects and residents via email, calls, and thank‑you notes to ensure satisfaction and secure renewals.
• Prepare lease renewal packages, contact renewing residents, and ensure timely execution of renewal documents.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner inquiries, addressing concerns or escalating as needed.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance), and work in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, including on‑call responsibilities.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Proficiency in online marketing tools, including Craigslist and Facebook.
